NAC’s TVET programs target youth, women, and persons with disabilities, ensuring that those with limited access to formal education have marketable skills. We focus on hands-on training tailored to local economic needs, increasing opportunities for employment – including self-employment, and business creation.
NAC delivers community-based, demand-driven training in sectors that provide long-term income potential, including:
- Carpentry, stone masonry, mechanics, and electrical work – Trades that support local economies and infrastructure development.
- Tailoring, handicrafts, and textiles – Skills that enable small business creation, particularly for women.
- Food processing – Skills that enable small business creations, reduce food waste, and improve food security levels.
- Agricultural training – Helping farmers adopt improved techniques for higher, more sustainable productivity.
- Business and financial literacy – Empowering trainees to launch and manage enterprises.
- 21st Century skills – Critical thinking, communication, English language, and IT skills.
